Differences between anti-static safety shoes and electrically insulated safety shoes

The anti-static safety shoes are made of soles supported by PVC or PU foamed materials and integrated with uppers made of PVC leather, cow leather, Oxford cloth and other materials. It mainly releases the accumulation of static electricity in the human body, and effectively inhibits the dust production of the human body in the dust-free room. By wearing anti-static safety shoes, the human body is connected with the earth to release the static current of the human body, which can effectively prevent the injury of static current caused by dry weather and the electric shock of current below 250V. Anti static safety shoes are mainly applicable to all places with static hazards such as combustion and explosion caused by static electricity in human body, such as the operation site of petroleum, chemical industry, coal mine, printing, rubber, medical treatment, purification, electronics and other production enterprises.

Electrically insulated shoes are safety shoes made of insulating materials, and the test voltage is 6kV or above. Electric insulating shoes are suitable for workplaces in construction, railway, fire protection, industry and mining, mechanical equipment, forestry, loading and unloading, port, Quarrying and other industries. Insulating shoes are generally divided into low-voltage insulation and high-voltage insulation. Those below 6kV insulation - 10kV are low-voltage insulation, and those above 10kV are high-voltage insulation. Electrically insulated safety shoes are produced in strict accordance with GB4385-1995 standard. They are made of black anti velvet leather and mesh cloth lining, and added with insulating materials. They are light, shock-absorbing, dry, breathable, fashionable, beautiful and durable.

Anti static safety shoes and electrically insulated safety shoes cannot be worn as the same performance safety shoes. When wearing anti-static safety shoes, insulating insoles and cotton socks should not be placed at the same time. It is prohibited to use anti-static shoes as insulated shoes.

Difference between conductive shoes and ESD shoes

Conductive shoes and ESD shoes have the same function, that is, both can eliminate human static electricity. Conductive shoes and ESD shoes should be maintained after use, and the resistance value of shoes should be tested after use for a period of time. If the test does not meet its standards, they can no longer be used and need to be updated in time.

ESD shoes and conductive shoes belong to two kinds of safety shoes with different functions. The differences between them are as follows:

1. Anti static shoes should be used together with anti-static clothes to effectively prevent static electricity.

2. When wearing conductive shoes and ESD shoes, they cannot be used with insulating insoles. The functions of these two kinds of safety shoes cannot be matched.

3. Anti static shoes can prevent electric shock below 250V, while conductive shoes must not be used in electric shock places.

4. Anti static shoes must not be used as insulating shoes.

5. The ground environment used by conductive shoes and ESD shoes is different. The use place of ESD shoes is anti-static ground, and the use place of conductive shoes is conductive ground.
